Jeff has worked in water resources, vegetation and wildlife characterization and mapping for over 30 years; for academic, state, federal and private entities. He has been the owner and manager of Shell Valley since 1995. Jeff considers himself a wildland watershed ecologist, understanding the dynamics and interactions between climate, soil, water, plants, invertebrates and animals. He feels he is at his best when interpreting and characterizing landscape and stream ecology.
Jeff and his wife, Jean enjoy the Rocky Mountain west where they have called home their entire lives and raised their two sons. Jeff takes advantage of the beautiful desert and mountain country that surrounds Shell, Wyoming, by skiing, hiking, cycling, riding their horses, fishing and hunting in his free time.
