Lyle was born and raised in Grass Creek and Thermopolis, Wyoming. Following several years at Wyoming and Montana Universities, Lyle and his wife, Michelle made their home in Basin, Wyoming where they raised three children. Outdoor learning has always been a fascination for Lyle and he takes great pleasure in being able to investigate, understand and mitigate impacts resulting from man’s use of the environment.
He and Michelle enjoy outdoor recreation and are active in hiking, backpacking, biking, skiing, hunting, fishing and camping.
He currently works on special projects as an adviser, giving guidance to the Shell Valley team.
