Shell Valley Consulting ecologists have over 70
years of combined experience in vegetation survey, monitoring, and mapping throughout the Rocky Mountain region. We have worked in a range of ecosystems, from low elevation desert to high elevation alpine at over 12,000 feet, in timbered, upland and riparian areas.
Our staff is experienced in identification of habitat and specimens of Threatened & Endangered species, as well as Bureau of Land Management Sensitive Species, U.S. Forest Service Sensitive Species, and other Special Status Species.
We are well versed in nearly every accepted plant survey method used today and Shell Valley has applied survey data to reports and assessments, employing advanced statistical methods needed for analysis in order to gain understanding of the plant species and the habitats they live in.
